Most online casinos treat you like a number. https://casino-and-friends.co.uk/ flips that – it’s built around the idea that gambling should feel like you’re part of a crew, not just another punter clicking spin. The name isn’t fluff. The whole site, from the teal-and-yellow design to the way games are grouped, pushes a social, approachable vibe. And it backs that up with real substance: over 2,000 games, a decent welcome offer, and a VIP ladder that actually rewards loyalty without demanding a second mortgage.
The Welcome Bonus – No Code, No Cringe
New players get 125 bonus spins on Book of Dead after a first deposit of at least £10. No promo code needed – you just opt in, deposit, and the spins land. That’s refreshingly straightforward. But the wagering requirement sits at 60x, which is higher than average. You’ve got 30 days to clear it, and max stake is the lower of £5 or 10% of your bonus winnings. If you’re disciplined, it’s a solid start. Here’s how it works:
- Register and verify your account (standard age and ID checks).
- Deposit £10 or more using any accepted method.
- Opt into the welcome offer – no code needed.
- Receive 125 spins on Book of Dead instantly.
- Play through winnings 60x within 30 days to withdraw.
Game Library – More Than Just Slots
The lobby holds 2,000+ titles, and the filters actually help. You’ve got slots, table games, live casino, and arcade-style options. Providers include Pragmatic Play, Play’n Go, Evolution, and NetEnt. Slots dominate (1,500+), but the live casino section is where the “friends” idea lands – you can chat with dealers and other players in real time. No lag, no glitches. Table games like Lightning Baccarat and American Roulette sit alongside arcade picks like Mega Fire Blaze Plinko. All RNGs are iTech Labs certified. Here’s a quick breakdown:
- Slots – Over 1,500 titles, including jackpot slots like Age of the Gods Cash Collect. Info buttons show reels, features, and bet limits.
- Live Casino – Real dealers, chatroom, games like Crazy Time and Mega Roulette. No streaming hiccups.
- Table Games – First-person classics: Lightning Baccarat, Super Sic Bo, Video Poker.
- Arcade – Keno, Plinko, Soccer Strike – quick, low-stakes fun.
VIP Program – Six Levels, Real Rewards
The VIP scheme doesn’t hide behind invite-only nonsense. You earn points by wagering, climb six levels, and unlock perks like a personal account manager, exclusive promotions, and event invites. The points required jump between tiers – here’s the structure:
| Level | VIP Points Required | Key Perk |
|---|---|---|
| 1 – Bronze | 0 | Standard rewards |
| 2 – Silver | 500 | Weekly bonuses |
| 3 – Gold | 2,000 | Faster withdrawals |
| 4 – Platinum | 5,000 | Personal account manager |
| 5 – Diamond | 15,000 | Invites to events |
| 6 – Elite | 30,000 | All perks + custom offers |
Practical Takeaway
Casino and Friends works if you want a legit, UKGC-licensed site that doesn’t overcomplicate things. The mobile app mirrors the desktop experience, withdrawals via PayPal or debit cards land within a few days, and customer service (live chat from 6 AM to 10 PM GMT) answers in under two hours. The wagering requirement on the welcome bonus is steep, but the VIP program and daily picks give ongoing value. Start with the £10 deposit, use the spins on Book of Dead, and if you clear the playthrough, move to the live dealer tables – that’s where the “friends” part actually shows up.
